Shuttle and Bike Hire/Bike Transport Information
We are delighted to be shuttle provider for one of the country’s most popular private walks, the Pahi Coastal Walk. With the Walk now well into its fourth season, the team at Hike & Bike look forward to each new group arriving ready to start on their adventure. We have oodles of off site parking available so please assemble anytime from 8.45am for a 9am departure. The shuttle is a lovely, relaxing way to start your trip as the roads north of Colville can be narrow and winding.
Our Colville location at 76 Wharf Road, is well signposted from the village and we offer secure parking for your vehicle while you enjoy the three day experience in the great outdoors. We highly recommend stopping on the way through Colville Village for your coffee fix at the Hereford n A Pickle Cafe, 2318 Colville Road, Colville. You can also purchase lunch for the first day from the cafe.
Did you know the 3rd day return to Colville comes with options? Either join the shuttle on the last day for the trip back or we can provide you with a quality electric bike to ride back under your own steam. 32kms over a quiet, gravel road beside the beautiful Hauraki Gulf is a ride not be missed. It was so popular last year, we’ve even had to add more bikes to our fleet! The ebikes eat up the distance with ease, we have comfort seats AND two styles to suit your preferred position.
And last but not least if you prefer to bring your own ebike, we will safely transfer it to the Pahi Coastal Walk already for you to depart on the final day.
Do you know where we can stay in Colville?
Yes, right across the road from the departure point is Susannah’s, a delightful villa perfectly set up for our travellers.
